Key West fall fishing

Key West fishing in the fall is a time of change. It is time when the bait starts to stack up and new migrations of fish follow the bait. It is time for the Kingfish, Wahoo, blackfin tuna and sailfish return just to name a few. The large wahoo run is in November typically and if you time it correctly, the bite can be amazing. Sailfish show up on the reef chasing ballyhoointo the shallows of the reef. It is not uncommon to catch sails in less than 20 feet of water. Fishing the sprays is on of my favorite types of sight fishing for sailfish. Key West fishing is about to come to life for another fall and winter.
