Captain Mike Weinhofer, A Top Key West Fishing Guide Offers Many Trip Types Including Exciting Key West Shark Fishing Trips.
Key West fishing offers unlimited adventures to choose from but none more exciting than getting hooked up to and doing a face to face battle with the monsters from the deep. We are talking about sharks and big ones. Captain Mike knows Key West fishing and knows where these underwater gliding monsters hide.
Key West Shark Fishing can be done in a number of different ways and different locations. You can harbor fish at night or deep water wrecks, but my favorite is chumming in the shallow water channels. It is an amazing sight to see a 300-600 lb shark charging the baits in less then 12 feet of water. Then to catch it on light tackle and feel the raw power of one of natures most destructive predators. Maybe drifting Wood's Wall for Mako, Six Gill and Great Hammerhead sharks and monsters is more your style. The sight of a prehistoric predator is just awesome. You need to know that all sharks that are not edible will be released. By releasing all fish that will not be eaten we protect Key West fishing for future anglers.
